Who are YWAM Ireland? We are a missional community of people committed to “being Jesus with skin on” wherever we are, whether that’s in a city on the island of Ireland or volunteering overseas. We strive to be a people committed to indiscriminate acts of kindness and service to Jesus, rooted in community and outreach. YWAM has been working on the island in various ways since the 70’s including discipleship training, media and arts ministries, family counselling, running breakfast clubs, forgiveness programs in schools and reconciliation conferences. 2010 marked a year of transition for us as we were gifted the former Christian Renewal Centre in Rostrevor. This iconic centre had been a house of prayer, reconciliation and spiritual renewal for over 35 years. We were honoured to take on the baton and have now developed the centre as our main regional base for YWAM Ireland. In 2012, we were excited for the opening of YWAM Sligo and we are praying for more new YWAM communities to be planted in Cork, Dublin, Belfast, Galway, Limerick and L’Derry over the next few years. We have strong partnerships with various churches, other charities and ministries in the island and around the world. Regions where we have a focus are: India, Southern Africa, East Africa, North Africa, the Balkans, China and the Middle East. Click on a site on the map to see what we’re up to around Ireland!
